Where is Cameron Highlands?

Aranda Nova sits atop the cool majesty of Cameron Highlands in Pahang, one of the premier hilltop holiday destinations in Malaysia. Standing tall at 5262 ft. above sea level, it is the highest developed point on the mainland.

Getting there Cameron Highlands is easily accessible by road. Setting off from Kuala Lumpur, the drive to Cameron Highlands will only take about 3 ½ hours. You will first enjoy a pleasant and comfortable drive along the North-South highway until the Tapah Exit. Following the signboards, you will reach a turnoff which will bring you to the Lata Iskandar Waterfall.

You may want to make a stopover at this point to enjoy the scenic views and splashing cold waterfalls and buy some knick-knacks at the stalls there. From here, a somewhat windy road will take you up to Cameron Highlands. Before reaching Aranda Nova, at the highest point of the highlands, you will pass through three towns – Ringlet, Tanah Rata and Brinchang. Our place is a further 7 minute drive uphill from Brinchang. Meanwhile, from the north, entry into Cameron Highlands is 1½ drive through the Simpang Pulai access road from Ipoh.

This is a pleasant and scenic trip uphill which will take you past Kampung Raja before you arrive at Aranda Nova. You can also access Cameron Highlands from the East, via Gua Musang in Kelantan, which ultimately joins the the Simpang Pulai access to the highlands.
